If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like if a video game came to life, now is your chance to find out. The Great Lakes Escape Game in Frankenmuth brings escape rooms, the latest thing in entertainment, to the area.

At Great Lakes Escape Game, you and your team are locked in a room filled with puzzles and clues. To win, solve the puzzles, unveil the clues, and escape the room within a 60-minute time limit. To learn more, visit the new website here.

This was a fun website to create, but we’re even more excited to try the game itself. Our only problem now is deciding which room to try first – one that pits players against pirates or one that calls for investigating a bootlegger during the Prohibition era.

Great Lakes Escape Game holds its ribbon cutting on Aug. 20 at 11 a.m. The first players go through the game at noon. Reservations are available online at the Great Lakes Escape Game website. If you go, look for the Ohno team. We may visit more than once.
