Hollywood beckons to amateur filmmakers.
Ohno’s own Tammie Stimpfel is producing a two-day film challenge in conjunction with the Hell’s Half Mile Film & Music Festival (HHM). The HHM Film Slam pits filmmaking teams against the clock in a fun, challenging and highly creative collaborative effort to produce a 4-7 minute short film — script through submission — in just 2 days! The fun begins on Friday, September 14 at 6 p.m. All films are due Sunday, September 16 at 7 p.m.
About a year ago, Tammie discovered a passion for making movies and competing in film challenges around Michigan. She loves that movies bring together all forms of art, relying on film, music, graphics, words, and more to tell a story. Now, she wants to help other people discover this art form.
